Pulling jokes out of no where

Hi!  This is DeWayne, Calah's studly husband.  We are all sitting around laughing and telling some bad jokes. Aunt Kim who was half asleep reaches into her purse and says, "ok if we are telling jokes then I need to pull this out." She pulles out a book entitled Lutefisk Buffet. We laughed so hard. I begged her to put the book back in her purse so we can watch her reach in and pull it out again.

This is the family I married into.....they are not part of my genes.

My first blog

After two years of this blog being established, I (DeWayne) learned that we have a blog page!

Lets give this a shot. Yesterday Calah and I arrived in SD to visit family. People have come from all parts of this country to gather for visiting with John (Calah's grandfather) as his health has been declining for the past few weeks. We have family from South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin and DC. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch of sloppy joes together (or BBQs depending on where you are but you are wrong for calling it BBQs). Danny, Calah's uncle, slow cooked pork on the grill for dinner. He did such a great job as the pork very juicy. We also were lucky to enjoy some of Robin's baking. It was a great time to talk with family and hear stories and joke around.

Beginnings

DeWayne, Doozie, Dewy, mmmmbop and I were married on February 9th, 2007 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I'm blogging our life and events for family and friends to view and add on if they wish. Our number one priorty is loving God, each other, family and friends. Here's to an exciting life together filled with many adventures!
